The unique rotating head is driven by the rotation of your workpiece and your fingers will never contact the workpiece, The foam hook and loop faced pad conforms to the shape of your turning so the abrasive disc always stays in contact with the bowl profile. This makes the Heavy Duty Contour Sander perfect to us on small bowls, large bowls, platters, hardwoods, softwoods, and on the inside or outside of bowls. The head can be swapped out between 2" or 3" size.
